U.S. COAST GUARD AWARDS CENTECH FINANCIAL SYSTEMS AND NETWORK OPERATION SUPPORT CONTRACT - The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has awarded THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH) a six-month, plus four one-year options Oracle Financial Systems and Network Operation Support contract at the USCG Financial Center (FINCEN) in Chesapeake, Virginia under the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract vehicle for information technology support services. VETERANS AFFAIRS AWARDS CHAPTER 33 CAPACITY PLANNING SUPPORT CONTRACT TO CENTECH - The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded their $6 million Chapter 33 Capacity Planning Support contract to THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH). As the prime, CENTECH will lead the firm fixed price/labor hour contract which starts immediately, and will be responsible for interim and long-term solutions that successfully address the technology demands of the Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) benefits program. CENTECH’S SECURITYMANAGER TO FULLFILL HHS PERSONNEL SECURITY SYSTEM CONTRACT - U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Security and Strategic Information announced that THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH) and their enterprise Web-based enterprise security management solution, SecurityManager™, have been chosen as providers for the combination firm fixed price and time and materials HHS Personnel Security System (HPSS) contract scheduled to start immediately and run through at least the end of 2010. U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SELECTS CENTECH FOR ENTERPRISE IT SUPPORT SERVICES - Department of Transportation (DoT), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded their multi-million, six year Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Support Services contract to THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH) under the General Services Administration’s (GSA’s) Commerce Information Technology Solutions (COMMITS) Next Generation Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). (more)

U.S. COAST GUARD AWARDS $10+ MILLION SUPPORT SERVICES CONTRACT AT ACADEMY
A five year contract worth more than $10 million to provide the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) New London, Connecticut Academy faculty and cadets with enhanced information technology support and solutions has been awarded to THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. of Arlington, Virginia and subcontractor, Harris IT. Successful Implementation of IPTV Solution to Air Mobility Command Bases Across the U.S.
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH), LGS and Video Furnace announced the successful implementation of an IPTV solution for Air Mobility Command Bases across the country. The $1.9 million project is the first with a single IP video solution to be implemented across an entire command. (more)

Federal Judge Says GSA Erred in Alliant Contract Awards
The General Services Administration improperly evaluated eight bids from vendors for its $50 billion Alliant information technology contract last year, denying some better-priced contractors a piece of the business, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims has ruled. (more)
